A flightcase is a durable and robust packaging for transport and storage of goods. Flightcases are made using panels and aluminum profiles. Depending on the goods to be transported, the inside of a flightcase can be fitted with foam. The case is lockable by means of butterfly locks. If the flightcase is too heavy to lift manually, it will normally be outfitted with wheels.
Set-up your own Flightcase
With the components you find in this shop you can make a flightcase to suit your needs. Under the heading Parts you will find all the parts needed to build a flightcase. It is also possible to enter the dimensions of a flight case and then automatically generate a parts list, this can be done under the heading Calculator. Here you can specify the dimensions and decide which locks and handles you want.
The Flightcase Calculator
Using the Calculator you can easily put together a "shopping list" for your Flightcase. A shopping list consists of all the necessary hardware, aluminium profiles and wooden panels. The panels are fabricated out of birchwood that can optionally be coverd with a High Pressure Laminate finish, of wich you can choose the desired color. All panels are pre-cut to the right size, but you'll have to cut the holes for the locks and handles yourself.
All aluminum profiles are delivered on 1 or 2 meter lengths (depending on the required number of meters). You need to cut them at the right length and mitre cut the locking profiles yourself. All the necessary materials to build your own flightcase are included. Among these are Ball corners, latches, handles, drills, rivets, etc.
It can take a hit
You can choose between ball corners and flat corners, both are deliverable in a stackable model. This way, your equipment survives the rough environment backstage or at an airfield.

Using good quality hinges make sure you can open and close your flightcase easily.
Can be easily locked
With a simple action, you can lock the flightcase with a butterfly lock.
The locks do not stick out so that they are not damaged.
Can be transported easily
Strong handles to transport the case. The handles are recessed, so they cannot be damaged during transport.
Because of the spring, the handle will always return to its original position.
Comfortable and mobile
Sometimes a Flightcase becomes too big and heavy making it difficult to maneuver. A simple solution would be to outfit your Flightcase with swivel castors. This way, your flightcase can be easily transported especially when you are moving heavy things.
